What Personal Information about you does Ethical Horse Products gather?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This is stored in our shop software for the purpose of managing a transaction which includes, taking a payment, allocating product stock or pre-purchase stock, shipping a product, and in the event that you require a refund.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. It is also required to enable us to protect against fraudulent behaviour.

If you are a member of our internal staff, or are an external consultant, we may process sufficient data that we can fulfil our contract with you (ie pay you on time).

This means you can request in writing to have all of your information held by Ethical Horse Products destroyed. You should understand that by making a request which we are obligated to carry out, your purchase information will be deleted as well. This means that, if at a later date, you require a refund due to faulty goods, or a replacement, you will need to provide your invoice that you received from Ethical Horse Products. We will not be able to provide a refund or replacement item in the event that you cannot provide the invoice, as we will not have records to cross check with.

In general, no. Information about our clients is an important part of our business and we will never share your details with others without your express permission. We do share the bare minimum of your data to the extent that it is necessary for us to process your payments and ship products. This may mean that your data is saved on servers outside the EU. If you have opted-in to a newsletter then your name and email address will be stored on another service which is currently Madmimi which is part of GoDaddy.
